So cruising round the net my workmate found this.

An MR2 for sale in germany with all the gauges and console replaced with LCD screen hooked up to a carputer and every sensor imaginable. Crazy.

This game kicks ass.

First of all, the shadows, and the sun, works pretty much exactly as you would expect it to. I was walking into the sunset and the sun in my eyes almost made me squint. So I got out my map and held it up infront of me and the suns rays shone through the ring binder holes in the paper of the map! Where the edge of the map was half covering the sun there was glare!

Also what I thought was cool, was the jamming guns. If you pick up an old crappy gun off some dude, it is likely to jam and you have to hold down the R button to unjam it. It could happen in the middle of a gun fight or just as you are about to pop some guy. Definitely gets the adrenaline pumping. I even had an Uzi misfire and explode in my hand. My character yelled and threw it away which attracted the attention of the guys I was hiding from.

Went to the Psycroptic concert on Saturday night. Was mean! Unfortunately Saturday morning I got a killer ear infection and went to the doctors. Had to pay $75 for him to tell me what I already new and get a script for some amoxycillin. Plus I still had a bit of headache and stuff from my sickness before that. So I didn’t drink or mosh to hard.

Shelley’s friend Ella is apparently into pop and stuff but she came anyway. Didn’t ask her if she liked it though. Pretty sure Shelley liked it, Nick and Brad just thought it all sounded the same, and didn’t like the growling vocals. Everyone is like that at the start though. They played Colour of Sleep and Skin Coffin and Lacertine Forest but unfortnately not my favourite song in the whole world, Cruelty Incarnate

Was still good though. Dawn of Azazel and Metal Tower supported them. The bassist in Metal Tower had a Warlock Bass Guitar.

They were out of shirts by the time we got there too which sucked. I was going to buy a hoodie for $40 but forgot… (??)

Unfortunately, I am a lazy fuck and I never got around to putting my speakers and central locking cable through, before Sunday but no one else but Nick came with me. Brad went riding, as did Shelley and Tesh. It was a mean sunny day, had a bit of a jam, got yelled at by Nicks mum for distrubing the neighbours, and left at about noon.

I love roadtrips. Grabbed some subway at Bombay. Got down there at about 3, met the dude in New World carpark in a suburb called Gate Pa (wtf?). Checked the guitar out, no wobbly neck, sweet as. Dude gave me some cash for gas which was cool of him, and we decided to go for a drive and check out the Mount (Manganui). Quite a few people on the beach. Nice girls everywhere, including one of my types (black tshirt and jeans on a hot day) lol.

There were tonnes of dicks just driving round and round in their peice of shit cars though.

Left there, Nick had a sleep in the back, while I stalked some chick in a white skyline all the way back to Papakura. Don’t remember what time we got home. Tried out the guitar, its got a mean sound but only on that amp for some reason. Sounds like crap on Nicks amp.

Then stayed up until about 4am playing Far Cry 2 (awesome game).

Man, lots to do this weekend.

Finish at 7am this Sat morning, I’ve gotta get some sleep, then get up, install my front speakers in my van, change the oil, hook up the drivers door central locking, and tune the amp for all the speakers.

Then going to the Psycroptic concert with Joe, Nick, Shelley and her friend Ella, get drunk off my nut, and mosh the fuck out. Should be mean. Gotta buy a Psycroptic Tshirt too. My brother wants to come but he is not 18 for another 15 days. Shame.

Then on Sunday (hopefully not hungover) road trip it down to Tauranga to pick up my gat and amp and hang around Tauranga if its nice weather.

Then on Monday I can install and play Far Cry 2!! Dave bought it in for me tonight, going to be SO mean! Thats another one I can scratch off my list Plus COD5 came out yesterday so hopefully I’ll get my hands on a copy of that soon.

Shit just remembered its my dads birthday on monday too… what am I going to get him… also skinny leaves for Wellington…

I had a dream. Of a horse crossed with a llama. That my friend Shelley had. And we took it for a roadtrip down to Taupo for some reason. In Becky’s ute. Stopping, on the way, to pick up some random old dudes dog and take it for a trip to.

Halfway along the trip we swapped the ute for a big black cadillac thing and horse/llama-float.

Stopped on the side of the road and slept in the sand cuddled up with the horse-llama, the dog ran away, and the 2 swat-team surburbans full of cops turned up and aimed guns at us.

After abusing the shit out of them regardless of the firearm situation, I got traffic infringements for the tiniest things.

Then driving home had to pull in and tell the old guy that his dog had run away. He remarked that it was a wandering little bugger and he would probably turn up sometime.

What the fuck… goes on in my head? Shelley thinks I am on crack.

So I voted for the Aotearoa Legalize Cannabis Party.

So what? I’m not a druggie. I don’t actually want to see cannabis legalized. As Jason at work pointed out, if it was legalised then you’d see burglaries, and meth labs and stuff rise because, the same crooks who were growing weed are now out of job, and they probably won’t be wanting to get a real job, so their going to keep doing criminal acts that make them money.

But my thinking was if there was enough people voting for them (7,589 voted for them out of 373,000 dope smokers in NZ) then maybe they’d at least look at making it legal for medicinal use. And then, hopefully we could open the door to actually researching the drug.

It has so many uses. It is a wonder drug.

Here is just some of the people who can benefit from it:

• Arthritis sufferers: On the normal prescription drug for Arthritis; Non-Steroid Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs), something like 70,000 americans per year are admitted to hospital, and 7,600 die from the adverse affects.
• AIDs sufferers: Chronic Pain.
• Cancer sufferers: Chronic Pain and depression.
• Crones disease sufferers: It hurts these people to eat. And the stuff they do eat, their bodies don’t get much nutrition from it. So why not get stoned? It gives you the munchies, and soothes pain. A perfect remedy.
• Idiopathics: My mother is an idiopathic but unfortunately she is too much of a prude to try marijuana. Idiopathics suffer from a condition where their own immune system destroys the white blood cells, meaning the blood is really thin and doesn’t clot so easily so if they get cut, they don’t heal easily. Cannabis soothes the immune system which would stop the immune system culling all the white blood cells.
• Smokers: Obviously if you smoke, its your own fault, however the THC in cannabis is thought to kill aging cells before they turn cancerous, as studies have shown that there is no link between lung cancer and smoking of cannabis. Plus, people who smoke cigarettes and cannabis have shown to be less likely to get lung cancer.

So who are the authorities to tell us what we can and can’t put into our bodies? As long as it isn’t done in a public place it should be fine. Obviously its not ideal for these people to walk around all day stoned, but thats why we need to research this drug; to split up its components for the different uses available, cutting out the ‘high’ factor.

But honestly, at the end of the day, when did a bit of euphoria hurt anyone?

So good to see Obama won. Thank god/satan/joe pesci/whoever you worship. The American people made a good choice, too bad it was the lesser of two evils. It would have been great to see Ron Paul or Denis Kunicich get it, but they are way too liberal/whistleblowing to be allowed to be president.

Of course it’s all fixed anyway, *they* wanted Obama to win, so they let him. LOL.

So glad McCain didn’t get in, the world would be fucked. Why does teh American Govt (typically Republicans) feel they have to bring their brand of democracy to everyone? Fuck them.

If McCain had got in, I reckon Iran would be nuked to the ground right now. And then die of a heart attack two weeks in an Palin would be in. Good God. What a fuck up that would be. She is clueless, and worse, a religious fucking nutjob.

So America has a black president. I think it is really hypocritical to say there are no race issues and then be all “we’ve got a black president”, “all the blacks voted for obama”, etc etc. Still can’t just be viewed as another person.

I reckon he’ll be assasinated. The fact is the McCain/Palin combo would be disasterous for America yet there are people who would still vote for them just because they don’t want a black man in power. What’s he going to do?! He’s old, he’s civilized, he’s educated, whats the issue?

Now if NAS or 50 cent or someone were running for president I’d see their point, and want to assasinate them quite quickly. They would be easily controlled by the puppet masters.

Hopefully Obama can clean up the SHIT that Bush has left behind.

Finally got the alarm put in my van today. $168 for the alarm on clearance price, $225 for the install by Warlocks. No one can steal my stuff now… unless they’re really crafty. So just gotta fix up one of the doors that doesn’t central lock, put the front speakers in, tune all the sounds, and she’ll be finished!

So stoked. Hopefully by next week it’ll all be done.

Bought a guitar also. A BC Rich Warlock with a Marshall amp, only 30w but meh.

Shrap says its a piece of shit, and that BC Rich guitars sound like ass, but fuck him lol, he has a $NZ12,000 guitar! Of course anything is going to sound worse than that. Lucky little bastard Doesn’t matter anyway, I’m going to downtune that badboy so much you won’t be able to hear life let alone ass.

Plus, I found out next year
are releasing a new album! W00t! Hopefully it’ll be real deathy/thrashy! So hopefully they’ll be touring again! Hopefully they’ll come here. So full of hope am I.
