Damn… Lilley’s got me so hooked on Guitar Hero… just thinking about it everywhere eh (and that makes me think of her lol!), see all the colours coming down the screen, the patterns for the riff of every song I listen to. Today I was listening to Black Label Society (as you may have picked up from the last post).

He would be hard to play I reckon. So many swapovers between the strums and the long strums (??). Shit that reminds me, gotta get my ticket to the Chimaira/Korn/Biohazard/Throwdown/Bloodsimple concert. That’s going to be mean.

Oh my fucking god I love this band soooo much! Zakk Wyldde is the fucking man! This is definitely my favourite band of all fucking time!

So much for leaving at 8am. Woke up at like, 930. Had a shower and stuff, texted Lilley. Didn’t want to leave without having an actual conversation with her lol (like not wasted). The others got up and screwed around for a while, we bought the guy whose house we were staying at some beer and stuff as a thank you. Got on the road at about 11:45, the others went back and I headed to Lilleys. Chatted with her and her brothers mates for a while.

Had a game of Guitar Hero with her, and got fuckin owned. It was my first go, but seriously, that girl can shred!

We were both still pretty munted from the night before I think lol, I felt like such a douchebag… like real slow and dumb. But yeah, she’s really cool. Hard to find girls like her. Then you do find her and something comes between you. *sigh* Murphy’s law bites me in the ass again…

Far out… slept in so long. Marlo came round again, fuck he’s hilarious and without even trying to be. Such a munter lol, Awesome shit… Anyway we all went out to the beach at Oriental Bay, and they played hacky. I didn’t wanna get burned, or put on sunscreen. So I was sitting there in my hoodie, looking like a creepy stalker, while texting Lilley lol. Luckily there was quite a chilly breeze so didn’t get too hot with my hood up.

Brown and Rebecca sunbathed and played guitar while the others played hacky, rugby, and frisbee. Pretty crackup watching them play. Some other dudes had a big slingshot and were trying to shoot this boat that was parked out in the bay with waterbombs. They hit it a few times. The people on board were looking real confused.

With Marlo as our tour guide we went and got lunch in my van. Then we went to the beach by the airport and watched the planes taking off and landing and stuff, sitting in the lounge chairs in the van.

Marlo was also nice enough to drop us off at the concert. When we saw the line at the gates to the concert, we were like “Holy Shit!” it was so long. But it started moving pretty quick. This is when I saw the KISS ARMY, in camo pants and singlets, that was a really mean idea.

Wow. Rock2Wellington was mean. Convoyed it down on Friday following Riki, Aeila, and Shane in Riki’s van. Left at about 8 in the morning, flying my pirate out the van window. Was awesome, got so many toots and people yelling at me on the way down. We went down through Te Kuiti on the west side of Ruapehu. I think we got down there at about, 4pm, or 6pm. I don’t remember. Stopped at Ohakune for lunch. Never want to visit that town again – to many kids trying to be frikkin G-Units.

Met up with Marlo in Lower Hutt and went to his place. Which is a garage he rents for $20 a week and sleeps in his van haha, so classic. Just showers and everything at uni. Get Riki and Marlo together and its like a freakin Comedy Show.

We ended up staying at Riki’s dads best friends place up in Brooklyn. Was pretty good, camped up in my new van in my hammock. Just happened to be holes in the sheet metal at the perfect places. A long wheel base Hiace would’ve been better but meh.

So I had a real fucked up dream last night… some weird dark house in the middle of the forest somewhere and me and my family were walking through it. There was this severed head of a rabid dog on the floor in one of the rooms and this jack russell walked up and sniffed at it, and the head started growling!!! Later in the dream, it was my cat that sniffed at it. And something or someone was coming to get us, and we were hiding inside this tent part of the house (???) and my mum let my cat out! When I was trying to keep him inside and safe.

The other screwed up thing, me and Nick pulled up outside my grandma’s house in Helensville. There was this group of 4 Maori dudes hanging round this car on the other side of the road. Nick said he was going to go and bash them and I was like there’s four of them!! Then one of them came up to my window and started abusing us, then suddely stopped and pointed down the road like “what the fuck is that?”

Sitting on some garbage cans was this thing like a cross between a dog and golem (kinda like this). One of the Maori’s thought it was that kind of dog.

Anyway, it was eating something, and I joked that it was brains or entrails. Me and Nick walked down to it and found that it had decapitated two goth kids, and was eating their brains out of the back of their heads.

Yeah… definitely up there with the most fucked up dreams I’ve ever had….

So I sold my Silvia two weeks ago .

Got $6400 for it which is pretty mean. I paid $7000 for it and pretty much never thrashed it. I also put $500 of new rear brakes in, and $1000 worth of soft compound anti-hydroplane tires on it so it had wicked grip in all conditions, I never once spun it out.

And it had the mean stereo setup, I did all the audio cabling in it, shielded and everything so no engine noise

But alas, losing my license twice in that thing is two times too much so I had to get rid of it.

So sold it to a friends boyfriends brother who had one but crashed it and got insurance so was looking for another one.

So anyway, saw this van on Trademe at like 730pm, rung the dude asked him some questions, told him I’d come down get it that night for $6000 cash. He said yep! So left at like 830pm and missioned it down to Tauranga to pick it up in my mates Hiace.

Got to the guys house, checked it out, all sweet. It’s even painted on the inside! Gave him the cash and gapped it, vanathon back to Auckland. Found out on the way back the lights are shit. I mean shit. High beam is like low beam and low beam is like… park lights.

Trying to keep up with Nick all the way back to Auckland because if I fall behind I won’t be able to see anything. That guy is fast, all through the Paeroa Gorge, and its my first time driving a van.

Anyways, got some spotlights for it, and some bullbars, put my own stereo in it, and now its a bit better.
